CoGri Middle East (CGME) recently completed a project at Alokozay inside Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. Alokozay is one of the largest FMCG brands in the Middle East, with a presence in over 40 countries and a diversified range of premium quality products.
Their products include popular tea blends, refreshing carbonated beverages, household products like cooking oil, tissue paper, and detergent powder, as well as a range of hygienic personal care products.
Flattening the Floor for Operational Efficiency
In late 2022, Alokozay needed to expand its existing facility and build rooms suitable for packaging printing machines. These machines required a certain degree of flatness from the floor to sit level and operate effectively.
Floor Flatness Testing, Grinding, and Sealing
A Face survey confirmed that the required floor flatness had not been achieved, so CGME were appointed to grind the floor under Face supervision once the areas requiring grinding had been identified. A final test was carried out with a report to confirm the required flatness had now been obtained. The ground areas were then sealed to prevent any dusting.
