Successfully Delivering a Challenging Flooring Project in Abu Dhabi

The project was one of our most challenging to date, with over 100 steel fixers on-site and up to 3 teams working in parallel on the project at times. Organising personnel, coordinating the teams on-site, and delivering materials was a fine balancing act, successfully completed using forward planning and team cooperation.

This project was for a client specialising in ports and terminal operations, maritime training, logistics support, vessel management, and marine services. As detailed, it comprised 4 warehouses, with the mobile rack cold store and the reach-truck cold store achieving FM1. The other 2 warehouses, a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Ambient store and a VNA cold store achieved DM2.

Mobile rack cold store: 17,288 sq m – Flatness FM1
Reach truck cold store: 17,375 sq m – Flatness FM1

VNA Ambient store: 17,475 sq m – Flatness DM2
VNA Cold store: 17,330 sq m – Flatness DM2

Total warehouse areas: 69,468 sq m.
